Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on regular items, custom, sale items or gift cards. This also applies to Janome sewing machines and accessories.
Exchanges
Although we do not support exchanges as a rule, we may be able to help you if what you have ordered does not meet your requirements. Any action is subject to our Terms of Service and we reserve the right to refuse any exchange or refund at our discretion.
Refunds
We do not allow returns consequently we do not provide refunds as per our Terms of Service. This applies to both our products and services.
Sewing Machines
We do not accept returns on sewing machines nor do we provide refunds or exchanges except for warranty issues. All sewing machines brought in for repair must be picked up no later than three weeks after the work has been completed.
Class/Workshop Cancellation / Refund Policy
At Make Sew Create, we value your commitment to our classes and workshops. Here’s our policy regarding cancellations and refunds:
100% of the class/workshop cost is non-refundable.
If you need to cancel your enrollment, we require a minimum notice of 48 hours before the start date of the class. 100% of the fee paid for that single session can be used as credit toward future classes/workshops. These credits are valid for 1 year from the date of the class/workshop cancellation.
Cancellations made will also incur a $25 administrative fee. While we strive to schedule make-up classes when necessary, please understand that it may not be possible in every circumstance. In either case, there will be no refund.
No refunds or store credits will be provided for students who drop out or fail to attend their class/workshop.
Please remember that it’s your responsibility to attend your classes and arrive on time.
$50 will be required at the time of registration for students who opt to use Make Sew Create’s machines during classes. This can be refunded at the end of the program provided there is no damage resulting from the student’s use.
